The Pre-WSRM Congress will be held in Bucharest, Romania between June 25th and June 27th, 2011. The history of the city has been written by both Romanians and foreigners, who lived in it or only passed through it. Built on Dambovita river’s banks, Bucharest is the capital city for the past 500 years. Its rich architecture and cultural life brought Bucharest the nickname of “Little Paris” at the beginning of the 20th Century.

Bucharest proved to be one of the most important centers in southeastern Europe, from geo-political, intellectual, cultural and social point of view, traditional but also forward thinking. What can be more interesting than a city which gathers together Orient and Occident, North and South, a city that speaks to all visitors through its history and modernity?
